Cookies & local storage

SoundSawt sets no cookie of its own and uses no advertising tracker. Its public pages load a cookie-free audience-measurement script (see “Third-party content” below). It uses your browser’s local storage for the features you ask for; this is “strictly necessary” storage and needs no consent banner. You can clear it at any time from your browser settings (this also resets the features below).

Third-party content
The YouTube player on video pages, YouTube thumbnails and the YouTube Data API are provided by Google. (Web fonts are served from our own domain.) When you use them, Google may set cookies or collect data under its own policy. Video pages use YouTube’s privacy-enhanced mode (youtube-nocookie.com).
The public pages (home, guides, support and legal pages) load an audience-measurement script from Umami Cloud (cloud.umami.is and gateway.umami.is, EU region). It sets no cookie and stores nothing in your browser; it counts page views of those pages only, ignores video pages, the Library, playlists and the account, drops any address parameter, and stays silent if your browser sends “Do Not Track”.
